About the Role

Thomas Miller Coffee Company is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position serves as a primary point of contact for our customers and plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, customer service, sales activities, and administrative functions.

**Starting Pay:** $20.00 per hour

**Responsibilities Include:**

• Answering incoming customer phone calls and emails
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assisting customers with product inquiries and recommending new products and services
• Coordinating with route drivers and service technicians regarding customer needs and service requests
• Recording and tracking service calls and customer concerns
• Following up to ensure service issues are resolved promptly
• Verifying and balancing daily invoices
• Emailing invoices and statements to customers
• QuickBooks accounts receivable data entry
• Customer account follow-up and collections
• Preparing and recording bank deposits
• General administrative and office support duties

**Flexible Part-Time Schedule**
This position can be structured as either:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

**OR**

• Three days per week, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours may occasionally vary due to inclement weather or business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Basic QuickBooks knowledge preferred

• Professional telephone and email etiquette

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
